Rob is an agribusiness executive and a fifth-generation Australian farmer. His career with Bayer covered Research and Development, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, M&A and Commercial Operations over 26 years. In 2018, he co-founded Beanstalk AgTech, an innovation company which focuses on helping agribusiness solve big challenges by connecting with the startup ecosystem. The company’s focus areas include waste, climate adaption and sustainable protein, actively working to help grow Singapore as an AgriFoodTech hub for Asia.

Beanstalk (beanstalkagtech.com) is an open innovation agency using emerging & high growth startups to help solve mega challenges for agribusiness corporates and large family enterprise operating across the Asia-Pacific region. Our areas cover Sustainable Protein, Waste and Climate Adaptation. Beanstalk’s overarching objective is to challenge, empower and guide key stakeholders in the food value chain in order to help reinvent the food system.
